My Cup Runneth Over

Gifts from God are so amazing. It makes you feel super special, but that’s only if you realize that the little big things are truly a blessing. I don’t know, but I’m on this so called trying to diet thing, yet the Lord continues to bless me with food…haha Won’t God do it All the time!! He knows that despite me saying I gotta cut back, He has to keep me fed. So the good Lord always gives me one of my favorite things, foooood! Yum yum. Yesterday I went to the café at the site where I’m currently working and decided to buy lunch. By the time I got there, all the fish was gone and only chicken and this mango stir fried thing was left. I’m not a fan of cooked fruits so I was skeptical about the mango thingy. Anyhow, I happened to run into the chef while I was questioning which one I should buy. He told me they all taste good because he’s the one who made it. Well, there you have it, I’m always getting caught out there. I couldn’t make up my mind so I told him that I’ll take whatever he gives me. Low and behold, he gave me two entrees and a side; typically, you only get one entrée and one side. Not only did he give me 3 selections, he filled my container to the absolute brim, yikes! For sure I was grateful, but I sure couldn’t close the lid. Can we say, “My cup runneth over!” The blessing didn’t end there. I went to pay for my lunch and asked the cashier the cost. Instead of giving me the cost, she started looking me up and down. Pretty uncomfortable I’d say. Next thing I know, a colleague asked her if she needed to look me up and down before giving me a price for my meal. She laughed and said no. She said she's just not sure how much to charge me because I received 2 meals in one! Normally they’d chare $10.00, but she said she’ll charge me $6.00, the price for one meal! Wow! Yup, God did it again. Won’t He do it all the time. Thank you, sweet baby Jesus for Always blessing me. Blessings and love.
